Today, Hero Before You Buy exists for one reason:
To make sure you don’t go through what I did.
What began as fixing my own problems turned into helping others avoid them.
I bought a Mercedes-Benz A180 as a small family car — it looked perfect, but the transmission had hidden issues. I kept it for years, paying registration on something that wasn’t reliable or even roadworthy.
Then came a Ford Territory — and again, a faulty transmission.
Two cars. Same mistake. Thousands lost.
That’s when I realised: most buyers don’t know what to look for — and it’s costing them.
So I decided to change that.
I started learning, getting hands-on, and understanding what really goes wrong inside cars. What began as fixing my own problems turned into helping others avoid them.
